and there was blood

This was supposed to be a post about my thoughts on the current political situation of our country - Jun Lozada's campus hopping, CHED Chairman Neri, the President, the OFWs' Remittance "Holiday", VP Noli - but I thought, "WHAT THE HELL? POLITICS? No way, I'm just really shallow." (Btw, i am for "DO NOT OUST GLORIA". :p)

1. Today, I woke up late. I came to school late. And this is nothing new.

2. Our group got a grade of 1 on our Humanities I tableau about The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy. What's funny is I haven't read the book yet. Ayos!

3. I forgot to eat today. But, I still went home with only eight pesos left.

4. See, I was reading Discover in the library and I was really enjoying the bit about wormholes and time travel, when I realized that I have been already sleeping on Einstein's face. Now, that would have been a funny picture.

5. Kiarash (my Hum1 classmate) and I finally had a real conversation. He was really friendly.

Me: Hey Kiarash, I never knew that you were Iranian. I always thought you were Turkish.
Kiarash: Oh. What's so cool about me being Iranian?
Me: Uh.. I mean.. Well, if you were British, or German, or Afghan, it would be cool as well. I'm just fascinated about foreigners.
Kiarash: Oh, that's cool.
Me: Yeah.
Kiarash: Okay.
Me: Uh...
Kiarash: ...

Hahaha. No, we actually had a nice talk. I think we're friends now.

6. I wounded my finger earlier. This godforsaken needle passed through my middle finger. As in right through it! Who knows where that needle was used?! It was bleeding so hard I had to suck my finger for 5 minutes. When the bleeding stopped, I was disturbed on how I enjoyed the taste of my own blood. But, what's more disturbing is my thought of Leona Lewis appearing in front of me and singing Bleeding Love to ease my pain. (Fuckety fuck, it still hurts.)

7. Our poster was printed today. Yey. Try to catch it at the Poster Exhibit happening this March 5-7, 2008 at the RH Lobby.
